Starbuck's Sumatra has been my favorite coffee for years. However, the recent price increase has made me very unhappy.

This is now $13.95 for a pound at Starbuck's (used to be around $10.95) and $10.19 for 12 oz. ($13.55/lb) at the local supermarket. This is nearly a 30% price increase!

So, I'm looking for a good alternative that tastes great and is a great value...any suggestions?

I am used to beans that are fresh roasted, day old to a week.these beans are[in my opinion]4-6 months old or more.the only saving grace is they are good beans and the great price.

Starbucks Sumatra is one of our favorites. It has a robust and a smooth taste that is always satisfying. For me, I love buying 3 at a time and at a very good price.
